neighborhood

                         Six million Egyptians were infected with hepatitis C by unsterile needles during the country’s decades-long fight against schistosomiasis. The virus spread insidiously; today, today, at least 10 percent of Egyptians, nearly nine million people are chronically infected, the highest rate in the world. in my neighborhood not everybody has a disease. there are stores that sells healthy food. i feel like the informations i saw on the article is related to my neighborhood because the article talks about another neighborhood health and i can use that article to compare it to my own neighborhood. in the article eventhough egypt is poor, the country still has effective health care system like liver specialists which different from what is in my neighborhood.

                    I chose Fordham and manhattan because they have great stores and restaurants. The leisure i picked relates to the neighborhood because the neighborhood has great stores etc which are good quality and quantity with good deals. The difference between my partner is that her places are in the bronx only while mines in Manhattan too. The similarities is that we both hang at clothes stores, parks and restaurants. it represents her neighborhood because stuffs are less expensive there and the stores there have great deals. I learned where my friends spend their free times at and i got to see the similarities and differences between people and i.

Leisure

                    The stuffs i do during my free time is sleep, eat, watch tv and movies, read books, and be on my social media's. I choose this items because those are the stiffs and activities i be doing. And those are the things i like to do during my free time. Leisure plays a bing role in my life because its my free time and i get to do the things  i love to do. It give me time to catch up on stuffs i'm behind at like shows or updates and home-works home-works home-works. From today's class i learned the percentages of time i spent during my free times, the activities i do the most i got to share them with the teachers and my friends. I also got to learn about what my friends like to do during their free times too.

social media

i feel like social media has made the world good and bad. the good way is that it has helped people become famous and people are more aware of what is happening in the world because as you know news flows faster on social media. the bad way is that some news that spread around are fake and nowadays you cant know what news are real or fake. its also both because people that knows how to use social media might have a positive advantage.also because, people that don't know how to use social media will have a negative view on social media.i like give my point of view based on mine and others that might think the opposite, thats why i picked both good and bad. my experience with social was good because i got to meet friends from different cultures and got news about celebrities quickly and i got to communicate with my friends and families for free and easily.

reflection: i learn people’s point of view on social media and i got to see who is a digital immigrants and a digital native. i learn how to podcast and how to record with a micro-phone. learned about those people who are addicted to social media like me and why they are addicted to it. i think i did well on the articles and links on the bogger. i also did well on the the information i wrote. i could have worked better on making each word the same format and length


Step 2: If i had to change something about social media, i will change the terms and agreements. Instead of making a long term and agreement, i will make a short summary talking about what would happen if you have an account. What i like about social media is the fact that we get to meet new people and get news easily. The thing i hate is the fact that i cant know if the news is true or fake. I cant be safe because i don't know who can hack my account. Also about the hackers, i will instal a voice recorder in case your account gets hacked so the computer will know the real person. I will make sure the app asks permission to the user before doing anything that has to do with the user. Lastly i will notify the user if anything needs to be changed or improved.

Selfies.

 

                     Almost every body takes selfies. Most people take selfies to post them up and others take them just for fun or because they are bored. I'm the person that takes alot of selfies when im bored or for fun. We all have our reason to take selfies and those that dont take alot of selfies also have their own reason of why they dont like taking selfies. What makes a picture interesting is the message you are trying to send to people. I

use my selfie for advantages, for example to remind people about old stuffs like 9/11 and to tell stuffs to people without writing.

Internet Fame.

                There are advantages and disadvantages of social media fame. The advantages are that; you get to know that there are some people that admire you, you get to communicate with people knowing that some people actually pay attention, you get to spread news to your fans so people will know what's new and you get to meet new people all around the world and learn about new cultures. The disadvantages of social media fame are that; people make fake accounts with your name and pretend they are you, you get mean comments on your pictures/videos because some people hate you and you cant go somewhere without people asking you for picture or autographs etc. I would like to be social media fame because i will get to communicate and interact with people all around the world. i would not mind the mean comments people will give because we all have opinions.

                  I am a Digital Native. i know how to use most social media out here and i have most of them. i do well using other types of new technologies. i am active most of the time on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat etc... and most technologies that are out now like I-Phone 6s or mac, i know how to use most of those technologies because whenever they come out, i try to find a way to learn how to use it. I'm only good using new technologies but with old technologies like phones with keyboards, i'm not good with those because i will not really need them and the technology is not that advance
